               Any Hope For The Hopeless?

Liverpool produced one of European greatest performances ever to outclass Pep Guardiola Army,
Jurgen Klopp prepared for the clash with their English rival Man city with a mindset that no other coach would have thought of ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK.

Joy for Klopp and despair for Guardiola

The match fell into Liverpool favour when they drew first blood and from there on they never looked back. Goals from Mo Salah, Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain and Sadio Mane ensured that Liverpool had one foot in the semi-finals of Europe top club competition. Is there anyway back for City ? Pep has insisted that everything will be thrown into the second leg of match, but is there truly anyway out for city?
Jurgen Klopp has ensured that his men remained hungry and focused through out the entire match, and to the surprise of many including me Man City where not able to get a single shot on target. Klopp heavy metal football has come to stay and the Liverpool players and fans are loving it. It brings to note that the 4-3 scoreline in January do not flatter Liverpool at all.

Pep Guardiola tactics and style of play suits Liverpool heavy mental football running from one side of the pitch to another. Pep is in a disaster and must come out with his usual magic to ensure that his City side go through to the next round.
The fans at the Etihad would also need to come out in their numbers and acts as the twelfth man just like their Anfield counterpart did, the noise and chorus from the fans at Anfield was a motivating factor, its been a while Anfield showed us what they truly they can be, the chants of You will never walk alone kept buzzing round the stadium and it was a terrific scene to behold.

Going back to the Etihad Pep would need to think out of the box to make something to happen, scoring Liverpool three unreplied goals would be a very tough task but its not impossible. Pep would need to rally his men and give them the much needed confidence they would need in that match, i soo much believe that the match is not yet over. who scores first in the second leg will determine how the rest of the match will go, a Liverpool goal first then the match would be over. City would need to start like an house on fire, attacking the way we all know they can attack  and ensuring that Liverpool spends lets little time with the ball. this would be  very difficult but not impossible for a top side like city. we all will be treated to a top class game, so sit back and enjoy it as it unfolds.
